Swamy Sivananda Yogasana Research centre was founded by Yogiraj N.Ramalingam in the year 1985; it is the most reputed and oldest therapeutic centre. It offers the most professional and service minded yoga education. The headquarters is situated in Madurai. The beautiful temple city in south India.

Our yoga research centre is recognized by the Indian medicine department of Tamil Nadu Government, Sports.

 The first yoga conference & competition was conducted and introduced in south India by Swamy sivanda yogasana research centre in the year 1988. On behalf of the yoga federation 6 national yoga competitions were held in 1993, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2006 and 2008 organized by the swami sivanada yogasana centre.  Since 1988 to date state level yoga competitions are organized by our centre throughout Tamil Nadu in south India.

 Free yoga camps are conducted every year all over India especially in the rural areas and for the poor peoples.It feeds them with a memorable experience and enjoyment

 The yoga ashram also conducts yoga classes in many schools and colleges around India with the intention of helping teenagers to develop both mentally and physically. Every 3 months free yoga therapy classes for asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc…are held to help peoples become more heath conscious.

  Every year we conducting free yoga camp all around the India especially in the country sides and poor peoples. It helps them to feel it and enjoy it. From our yoga Ashram we conducing yoga classes in many schools and colleges around India which help those teenagers to develop themselves both in physical and mental.

   Swamy Sivananda Yogasana Research Center is a perfect place for yoga and meditation. It is situated in the holy temple city called MADURAI, famous for the Meenakshi Amman Temple, which draws devotees from all corners of the earth. The serenity of the ashram is further accentuated by the surrounding natural beauty which includes natural herbs. It is an ideal location away from the hustle and bustle of city life and the stressful modern day world.
